Before working with Mel, we were pretty scattered with our wedding planning – we had a few vendors booked but didn’t have a clear idea of what we wanted our day to look like. We weren’t able to give Mel a lot of direction, but what she did with our little nuggets of ideas was amazing.

Mel was able to be a calm presence throughout our wedding day and truly went above and beyond to ensure we as the bride and groom were enjoying ourselves and had everything we needed.

What really struck me about Melanie is how she gave us plenty of space to express our ideas, visions and wishes. There is no judgement, no pressure or influencing, only patience, understanding, encouragement and an open ear. We felt so understood by Mel that we entrusted her to oversee the design of our wedding cake and were amazed by how perfect it was, including a special quote just for us.

Mel’s professionalism, calm, reassuring personality and experience in planning allowed us to enjoy the rest of the planning process stress-free. Everything was planned for and considered. It’s very clear that Mel has a lot of experience wedding planning because she is extremely organized and brings things to your attention you would never think to consider while giving you her honest opinion.

I didn’t worry about a single thing leading into the wedding or on the day knowing we had Mel working with us. She took the time to understand our vision and was so creative and supportive.

As a couple who really had no idea what to do and when to do it, Mel was very patient and knowledgeable. She was very personal and professional and took the time to explain the pros and cons of many options.

From the first day we met with Mel until our wedding day, she was a great support and planner. Mel’s calm demeanor matched out style and she made us feel comfortable that she cared personally about our day.
